Fetal Skeleton Model 32 Weeks, Life Size on Stand - RX-FS1

The RX-FS1 is a life size fetal skeleton model showing the skeletal structure of a foetus at 32 weeks. Moulded in PVC and mounted on a stand with a hard plastic base, it gives obstetrics, midwifery and anatomy students a permanent reference for prenatal bone development.

Key features:

  • Life size 32-week fetal skeleton - shows prenatal bone development at true scale
  • Moulded in PVC - durable enough for regular classroom handling
  • Mounted on a stand with hard plastic base - stable for display and demonstration
  • Detachable skull and legs - individual regions can be examined separately
  • Spring-loaded lower jaw - opens and closes to show mandibular movement

Built for prenatal anatomy teaching:

At 32 weeks the fetal skeleton shows ossification well advanced but not complete, which makes it a useful teaching stage for obstetrics, midwifery, paediatrics and anatomy courses. This model reproduces that structure at life size, so students can see the proportions of the fetal skull, thorax and limbs rather than working from diagrams.

Detachable parts and moving jaw:

The skull and legs detach so individual regions can be passed round a class or examined closely without moving the whole model. The lower jaw is spring loaded, opening and closing to demonstrate mandibular movement. The stand and hard plastic base hold the skeleton upright for display between sessions.
