Life Size Articulated Human Skeleton Model with Nerves and Arteries - XC-101

The XC-101 is a life size articulated human skeleton mounted on a sturdy base and moulded in washable PVC. Alongside the full skeletal structure it shows nerve branches, the vertebral artery and a herniated lumbar disc, so one model covers basic osteology and common clinical reference points.

Key features:

  • Life size articulated skeleton on a sturdy base - ready to demonstrate from
  • Nerve branches and cervical and vertebral arteries shown - anatomy beyond bone in one model
  • Herniated lumbar disc depicted - a clinical talking point built into the spine
  • Skull with movable jaw, cut calvarium and suture lines - cranial detail without a separate model
  • Removable upper and lower limbs - arms and legs detach for individual study
  • Washable PVC construction - wipes clean after classroom handling

More than a bone model:

Most life size skeletons show bone alone. The XC-101 adds nerve branches, the cervical and vertebral arteries and a herniated lumbar disc, which means the same model can carry a session on skeletal anatomy and a session on nerve pathways or disc pathology. For a department buying one skeleton rather than several, that breadth is usually the deciding factor.

Skull detail and removable limbs:

The skull has a movable jaw, a cut calvarium that lifts away to show the cranial interior, and suture lines marked across the vault. The upper and lower limbs detach, so an arm or leg can be passed round a class while the rest of the skeleton stays on its base. The PVC is washable and stands up to repeated handling across a teaching year.
