Skull and extremity detail:
The skull is fully detailed. The calvarium is removable, the mandible is movable, and all foramina, fissures and processes are clearly depicted. Teeth are separately installed in ceramic white to match natural dentition. The right hand and foot are supplied articulated for anatomical reference, while the left hand and foot are disarticulated for individual bone study. A complete set of intervertebral discs is included.
Why the painted markings matter:
The red and blue painting turns a bone identification set into an attachment-site reference. A student working through the origins and insertions of a given muscle can pick up the relevant bone and see exactly where it attaches, instead of cross-referencing an atlas. That makes the XC-130B better suited to physiotherapy, sports science and functional anatomy teaching than a plain skeleton.
