Life Size Human Skull Model, 3 Part Dissectible - XC-104

The XC-104 is a life size human skull model moulded in PVC and dissectible into three parts. The calvarium lifts away and the mandible moves, exposing the cranial interior. Foramina, fissures and processes are depicted across the surface, and the teeth are set individually in white.

What the three part construction shows:
Taking the calvarium off exposes the cranial cavity and the interior of the base, so the foramina can be traced from both surfaces. With the mandible movable as well, one model covers the outside of the skull, the inside of the vault and the working of the jaw without a second specimen.
 
Material and finish:
The skull is moulded in PVC, a single material throughout the model. The teeth are installed separately in white rather than moulded as part of the jaw, which keeps the dental arch legible when students work close up. Surface detail covers the foramina, fissures and processes across the cranium and base.
